LZ Distraction: The Prospective Series: A Chicago Pop Up Gallery @ Old Time Social
Description: In an effort to provide exposure for emerging artists and offer a welcoming environment for people unfamiliar with different art mediums wanting to purchase their first piece of art, Lucy Baird and Caitlyn Hofer created The Prospective Series. This series presents a quarterly pop-up gallery offering unique works of art for sale in accessible environments. The goal is to provide opportunities for emerging artists to exhibit their work and interested public an opportunity to access it in a less intimidating environment.
The Prospective Series features 3-5 different young artists hosted at different venues in the city each quarter. Lucy and Caitlyn are bridging the gap between upcoming artists creating original pieces and interested art enthusiasts.
