One of the reasons why I love hosting LZ Meet-ups is because I get to meet and chat with LZ readers, who are mostly small biz owners. Most often, these are peeps that I’ve connected with virtually, but never in person. At our last meet-up, one of the sentiments expressed by all, was the importance of solidarity amongst small biz owners (yet, ironically, often, the lack thereof). Key points from that convo were:

There is strength in numbers.

As small biz owners, we can achieve much more collectively, than independently.

We can position ourselves for larger contracts and opportunities by working together.

Our clientele and businesses can benefit from strong referral networks.

One of my guests at that meet-up was Melissa Harris of 3 Wise Women, an online talk show covering thought provoking topics relevant to small biz owners. I was very excited, when Melissa approached me with an opportunity for us to partner, in a way to benefit both of our audiences.
